Dr Glisson knew she was on a journey….she was such a kindred spirit and woman of God…even though she was suffering she made everyone feel special…we only had her for a short time at St James but she truly made her mark in our little church on the hill (wheeler Hill) and she embraced each one of us….we have memories and will miss her…..

Our heartfelt condolences to the entire Glisson Family. Our hearts were saddened when we learned of the passing of Rev. Glisson. She truly was a Woman of God. Rev. Glisson touched the lives of so many with her Godly love and beautiful spirit where she shined as a Beacon of Light as our Pastor at St. James AME Church on Wheeler Hill. Her spirit of love, teachings, guidance and support will always be remembered in our hearts and never forgotten.

My deepest condolences to the family during this difficult time. I will always cherish the countless opportunities she provided me to nurture my ministry. For several years at DJJ, she entrusted me with teaching and preaching to the students in her care. In addition, she gave me many opportunities to preach at the churches she has pastored over the years. I am forever grateful for her support, forever in my memories. You certainly will be missed.
